There are five stages of grief, and Di, it seemed, was going through them all.

First, there's Denial.
This wasn't happening? No, she wasn't truly locked up in this tiny prison cell?

Then, there's Anger.
How could they believe she would kill Jim? Sure, she had proclaimed her hate for him by scrawling the words 'DIE BASTARD' on his car, but, she wouldn't kill him!

Next, comes Bargaining.
“Please, God. Please, get me out of here. I’ll do anything. Anything.”

And, Depression.
Tears falling freely, she felt hopeless. No way out.

Finally, Acceptance.
No, that stage was never an option.
