Being by yourself was usually a blessing, but in a place like Larkhall it wasn’t long before you started to crave the company of another. For Di, it was difficult. It was bad enough to be on the inside, but the fact that she was an ex PO meant she was segregated, treated like a leper. No one wanted to come near her, never mind touch her.

As the days and nights became longer and lonelier, Di found solace only in the fantasies she conjured in her mind. She would picture Natalie’s hands caressing her, feel Natalie’s hot breath on her skin as she gently nibbled on her flesh, teasing her. She could feel herself throb with excitement, until she opened her eyes and realized that a fantasy was just that - a fantasy.

The reality was, she was still here, and, she was still alone.
