Thomas had left her with those parting words, and now they were playing over and over in her head. Their brief relationship was over and to Helen’s surprise she didn't feel sad. All it took were those seven little words for her to finally realize she was living a lie.

She’d gone to the bar to drown her sorrows over everything lost. But, as the tv screen flickered and she saw Nikki, heard her voice, her words, she smiled. She knew.
